I'm Lexi, the photographer behind Hitched in Maui Photography.

For years, I've had the privilege of helping couples celebrate one of the biggest days of their lives here on Maui. 

Along the way, I've worn a few different hats. Wedding Photographer.  Elopement Planner. Licensed officiant. Local guide. Timeline problem solver. Professional keeper of calm when the unexpected inevitably happens.

Those experiences have shaped the way I photograph weddings today.

I don't just show up with a camera.

I understand how a wedding day actually unfolds.

I know when the light slips behind the palms at your venue. 

I know when we need five extra minutes before sunset. 

I know when your family needs a little direction, and when the best thing I can do is quietly step back and let a moment happen on its own.

My goal has never been to create perfect photographs.

It's to create photographs that feel like your wedding.

The nervous excitement before the ceremony.

The deep breath you take when you finally see each other.

Your grandparents laughing during dinner.

Your friends on the dance floor.

The quiet few minutes when the two of you sneak away to watch the sun set over the Pacific and everything else seems to disappear.

Those are the moments that matter.

My photography style is romantic, natural, and true to life. 

I love movement, genuine emotion, beautiful light, and images that still feel timeless decades from now. 

I'll guide you when you need it, but I'll never make your wedding feel like one long photoshoot.

I believe luxury isn't about making a wedding more elaborate.

It's about creating an experience that feels effortless.

It's thoughtful planning.

Clear communication.

Knowing what comes next before you have to ask.

Giving you the confidence to stay present because someone else is paying attention to the details.

Living on Maui has given me an incredible appreciation for this island, but what inspires me most isn't just the scenery. 

It's the way people feel when they're here. The pace slows down.

The air feels different. People reconnect with each other.

My job is to preserve that feeling long after your flight home.

When I'm not photographing weddings, you'll usually find me exploring somewhere on Maui with my husband, spending time with our rescue dog George, or finding another corner of this island that reminds me why I still feel so lucky to call it home.

At the end of the day, I don't want you to remember me because I took beautiful photographs.

I want you to remember that you felt comfortable. That you felt seen.

That you could be yourselves.

Because when that happens, the photographs naturally become everything you hoped they would be.
